I heart podcasts and I have for a while now. They are such a great source for inspiration and information, and I really love that you can listen to podcasts while you’re on the go, and even while you commute and work.
If you’ve never listened to a podcast before, it’s basically a pre-recorded program where a host discusses topics either solo, with a co-host (or several co-hosts). Hosts also interview special guests and go in-depth about their experiences.
Even though I don’t commute anymore, I still make time to listen to podcasts. My favorite shows to listen to are business-related podcasts. Today, I’m sharing my 5 favorite business podcasts, including two podcasts that were recently launched, and are hosted by women!
#1 Smart Passive Income by Pat Flynn
My first pick is the Smart Passive Income Podcast by Pat Flynn. Pat Flynn was an architect, turned blogger who is now a successful entrepreneur, author, and public speaker.
After he was laid off from his architect job, started blogging full-time and he created an eBook that made $10,000 in one month. The rest is history. He started experimenting with online business and teaching other people what he learned.
His podcast was the first business podcast I ever listened to, and his interviews with successful business owners helped me understand ways to make money online.
This podcast goes in-depth, and it’s a great podcast for business beginners, whether you have an online business or a traditional one.

#2 Ask Pat by Pat Flynn
Ask Pat is another podcast by Pat Flynn. This is a shorter podcast that Pat started to answer quick questions. Recently, he expanded the podcast to go more in-depth with individual business owners.
If you are an experienced entrepreneur who has questions, or if you are really busy, Ask Pat is a great podcast to listen to for quick business lessons.

#3 Entrepreneur on Fire by John Lee Dumas
My next recommendation is Entrepreneur on Fire by John Lee Dumas. I’m pretty sure that I found out about JLD’s podcast from listening to Pat Flynn. John Lee Dumas’s podcast is unique because he airs a new episode every day. He’s a military vet and he has an incredible level of focus and discipline.
If you’ve never recorded content, I assure you that it’s very difficult to post new, high quality content seven days a week! Even when his home in Puerto Rico was destroyed, he managed to keep his show going.
On the Entrepreneur on Fire podcast, JLD interviews entrepreneurs about their journeys and there is a unique spin on every show. The stories are inspirational, and they help to motivate entrepreneurs to overcome obstacles and keep moving forward.

#4 Design Your Dream Life Podcast by Natalie Bacon
The next podcast on my list recently launched and it is so good! This podcast is unique because Natalie focuses on the mindset that you need for success, which is something that’s really essential to changing your life and growing your business and brand.
I initially found Natalie when I was looking for information about paying off my student loans! Natalie is an attorney, turned financial advisor, and now full-time six-figure blogger and entrepreneur!
I can definitely relate to her story, and I really like how she shares productivity tips and advice. Even though I’ve blogged for many years, I’m actually taking her course on blogging while working full-time and it is helping me learn new strategies for blogging.

#5 Million Dollar Badass Podcast by Rachel Rodgers
The last podcast on my list is brand-spankin’ new and just launched this week! Million Dollar Badass is a podcast by Rachel Rodgers, a lawyer turned business coach.
Rachel successfully ran her own virtual law firm and created a product called Small Business Bodyguard, which was revolutionary in the digital marketing space. Now, she teaches other women how to grow their businesses from six figures to seven figures.
I listen to podcast by people of all backgrounds, but I am pleased that Rachel is focusing on highlighting women of color. At least half of her podcast guests will be women of color.

Listening to Podcasts
I have included all of the links to each podcast, via each creator’s website. Pat Flynn and John Lee Dumas also have apps that you can download to listen on the go, and you can access Natalie Bacon’s podcast and Rachel Rodger’s podcasts on the Apple Podcasts app or on Google Play.
Most creators include “show notes” which are details and links related to topics discussed in the podcasts, which are also available on their websites or through their apps.
If you have any podcasts that you enjoy listening to, definitely let me know what they are so I can check them out, and I hope these podcasts are helpful!
